Greg Fontenette’s philosophy is rooted in resilience. Having navigated adversity in his own path, he believes basketball is a powerful platform for teaching grit, accountability, and leadership. Through GFB, he is committed to developing not just skilled athletes, but young men equipped to face life’s challenges, and to mentoring those who need guidance the most.

16+ years of basketball coaching and advanced skills development, training over 3,000 athletes worldwide across NBA, WNBA, FIBA, NCAA, and elite youth levels.

Developed multiple athletes currently competing at the NCAA Division I & II levels, with several advancing to professional careers in FIBA and the NBA.

Served as a Contracted Skills Development Coach for the University of Illinois Men’s Basketball (Fall 2022), contributing to Division I player development and high-performance training environments.
