Greg Fontenette is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in basketball skills training and team coaching. Renowned for his innovative and effective coaching methodologies, he has impacted more than 3,000 clients across the globe, with players spanning the NBA, WNBA, FIBA, NCAA, and youth levels. Greg currently serves as the Head Coach at Valencia High School, helped lead the program to remarkable success as the 2022-23 CIF Boys Southern Section Champions, CIF Boys State Regional Champions, and CIF Boys California State Champions, along with capturing the prestigious 2022 Section 7 Varsity Championship.

In the fall of 2022, Coach Fontenette further honed his expertise when he was contracted as a skills development coach for the University of Illinois Men's Basketball Team. This opportunity allowed him to deepen his mastery as both a skills trainer and team coach, fueling his aspirations to coach at the highest levels of NCAA Division I basketball.

Reflecting on his career highlights, Coach Fontenette proudly recalls, “Leading Valencia High School to the Section 7 championship title was unforgettable. Winning the largest varsity tournament on the West Coast in front of over 300 college coaches and being the first from our city to do so was truly special."

Coach CJ played four years at Sacramento State University from 2017 to 2020. A 2016 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California and played three years of varsity basketball for Notre Dame after spending his freshman season at Santa Clarita’s Golden Valley High School.
Coach CJ played all five positions on the floor for Notre Dame HS head coach Vince Oliver and would guard the opponent’s best player whether that player was a guard or a post. As a senior and team captain, Jacobs led the Knights to the CIF Southern Section Div. 4AA championship game and a second round appearance in the state tournament. Jacobs was named the 4AA Co-Player of the Year, first team all-section, first team all-area and first team all-Mission League after averaging 24.2 points and 12.1 rebounds per game while shooting .570 from the field, .469 from the 3-point line and .800 from the free throw line.
